This special edition celebrates the flower industry professionals over the age of 40 who continue to bring fresh and innovative ideas into the industry. Srini was selected from nearly 300 nominations, and not only was Srini included, but she was the 5th most nominated. Srini was deeply touched by being included. Kreative Hands awarded for Best Corsage in the Florist Review "Picture Perfect Weddings Contest"Kreative Hands has been awarded for the Best Corsage in the 25th Annual "Picture Perfect Weddings Contest" run by the Florist Review.
According to their website, this competition "refers to floral décor for a wedding celebration that is visually stunning and impeccably executed, creating a scene so beautiful that it could be captured in photographs like a work of art." Out of nearly 140 entries, Kreative Hands was recognised for their design for the beautifully embellished corsage. |
Kreative Hands came 3rd place in Florists’ Review’s Autumn Wedding Contest 2023 for floral crownKreative Hands was awarded 3rd place in the Best Wearable Flowers category in Florist's Review annual competition.
The win came with this beautiful autumnal floral made from dried/preserved flowers, which was featured in a wedding blog earlier this year. Srini will receive a product package valued at $100 from Fitz Design as a prize. Kreative Hands team was ecstatic about this recognition! |
Kreative Hands featured in Wedding Chicks blog for Floral Crown designA floral crown that the Founder Srini created was featured in Wedding Blog Wedding Chicks in July, 2023.
The crown was created with some dried/preserved flowers - sparked by inspiration for their festive fall Boho wedding theme. As written on the blog, the bride Ali was "going for an elegant Boho look, she also wore a stunning dried floral headpiece in rust tones." The Founder of Kreative Hands Srini commented: "I am in tears that this beautiful wedding just got featured. I am humbled after 10 years of hard work to be featured in this blog!" Srini said. Srini joins as a guest in Mornings with Mayesh: Floral Design Spaces showOur founder Srini Perera had the pleasure to join a conversation with four other guests to talk about the new book "Where We Bloom" on Sept. 22nd, 2021.
Srini took part in a virtual conversation with three other florists and the author of the book Debra Prinzing to discuss the book and share insights of their creative spaces. In the show, they also virtually shared a glimpse of their own creative floral design spaces. Besides Srini from Kreative Hands, Maura Whalen from Casablanca Floral, and Kit Wertz & Casey Schwartz from Flower Duet share their studios with the audience.
